Some of the most creative people work in advertising and they often poke fun or highlight corporate America to make a point or sell a product. Thomas Sargent, winner of the 2011 Nobel Prize in Economics, is the highlight of this video. Sargent is actually giving an anti-endorsement.  He simply denies the ability to predict the future (ironically). It does beg the question that all leaders must deal with:  How do you make decisions that impact the future of the business?

At your next staff meeting, watch the video and have a conversation with your team about predicting the future. Here’s a blog article that will be helpful.
